At A1 Roofing Nottingham, we offer high-quality single ply roofing solutions to homeowners and businesses in Southwell and surrounding areas. Our team of experienced roofing contractors has extensive knowledge of single ply roofing systems, ensuring that your property receives the best possible protection from the elements.

Single ply roofing refers to a type of roofing system that consists of a single layer of waterproof membrane. Unlike traditional roofing systems that use multiple layers, single ply roofing provides a simple yet effective solution for flat and pitched roofs. This type of roofing is commonly used in commercial and industrial settings, but it's also becoming increasingly popular for residential properties in Southwell.

There are several types of single ply roofing membranes available, including PVC, EPDM, and bitumen. Each type has its own unique characteristics and benefits. For example, PVC membranes are known for their durability and resistance to chemicals, while EPDM membranes are highly flexible and resistant to UV radiation. Bitumen membranes, on the other hand, are a cost-effective option that's compatible with a wide range of roofing systems.

Our team of roofing contractors has extensive experience in installing single ply roofing systems in Southwell. We use only the highest quality materials and follow strict installation guidelines to ensure that your roof is watertight and secure. Our installation process typically involves:

1. Inspecting the roof to identify any potential issues or defects
2. Cleaning and preparing the roof surface
3. Installing the single ply membrane
4. Sealing the edges and seams
5. Testing the roof to ensure it's watertight
