At A1 Roofing Nottingham, we understand the importance of a durable and aesthetically pleasing roof. Slate and tiles have been a popular choice for homeowners and businesses in Nottingham for centuries, and it's easy to see why. In this article, we'll explore the benefits of slate and tiles, and why they're a great option for your roofing project.

Slate is a natural, metamorphic rock that has been used for roofing for thousands of years. It's renowned for its durability, with some slate roofs lasting for over a century. At A1 Roofing Nottingham, we source our slates from reputable suppliers in the UK, ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality materials. We offer a range of slate roofing services, from repairs and maintenance to full re-roofs.

Tiles are another popular option for roofing in Nottingham. They're available in a range of materials, including clay, concrete, and slate. Tiles are a great choice for those looking for a more affordable option than slate, while still offering excellent durability and weather resistance. We offer a range of tile roofing services, including installation, repairs, and maintenance.

For those looking for a more sustainable option, reclaimed slates are a great choice. We source our reclaimed slates from old buildings and salvage yards, reducing waste and the environmental impact of new slate production. Reclaimed slates can add a unique touch to your roof, and are often used in heritage and conservation projects.
